1st Relay Setup
- Two Arduino Relay Shields controlled by the Arduino WIFI
- Code WIFI server shown on the Left
- Controlled using a phone connected to the same WIFI as the Arduino
2nd Relay Setup
- controlled by a C-MORE screen – can also be connected via Bluetooth and controlled by a phone
- Connected to just the Linear actuators
- rest of the systems connected directly to the plc
- the C-MORE screen shows the preliminary remote control code
The seat safety and handles of the mower use switches to tell know if there is a person on the seat, or if the handle bars are in driving position. A short circuit means there is a person on the seat and the handle bars are in the right position. To simulate this, wires connected the switch on the mower (seen to the right) to the relays in the PLC. This allowed the safety systems to be controlled by either the user in remote control, or through code in self driving.
